What do I get when I purchase a SnapShot analysis?
CIOview offers the service of performing a custom TCO or ROI analysis based on input gathered via a SnapShot Web questionnaire. If you choose a SnapShot analysis, CIOview's business analysts will perform a TCO or ROI analysis based on the information you shared with us on the TCO SnapShot form. They take that data, review it for any major anomalies, and then use CIOview's analysis software to produce your results. For TCO SnapShot analysis, CIOview's TCOnow! software is used to produce a one-page side-by-side comparison of the IT options you chose to compare. For a ROI SnapShot analysis, ROInow! software is used, and the result is a one-page graphical synopsis of: your detailed costs over three years; the amount and type of financial benefits you can expect; features that affect those benefits; and a risk analysis.
After you submit the SnapShot Web questionnaire, and then (if required) enter your payment information through the CIOview store, your project is routed to CIOview's business analysts. Your unique project is created, and the result is a one-page, graphical SnapShot analysis, as well as a CIOview project file. We will email both your SnapShot and your CIOview project file to you. The SnapShot is delivered in PDF format. You can open the project file by downloading the CIOview Player software (the engine that drives all TCOnow! and ROInow! software.) and launching your complementary Presentation License of TCOnow! or ROInow! software. That link will be included with your SnapShot email.
What is a Presentation License?
After reviewing your SnapShot, you will probably want to understand the detailed assumptions behind your results or share the information with your colleagues. To do this, CIOview provides you with a Presentation License for the TCOnow! or ROInow! software that was used to create your analysis. This Presentation License enables you to view the hundreds of data points used to create your SnapShot and to print out individual topic pages.
Why would I want a Professional License of TCOnow! or ROInow!?
A Presentation License is essentially a "read-only" license. So, if you would like to change any of your assumptions, perform "what-if" analyses, generate a detailed (50+-page) business case, or produce multiple TCO or ROI assessments, then you need a Professional License. You can upgrade from a Presentation License to a full Professional License directly from your Presentation License or by visiting store.cioview.com.
When will I receive my completed SnapShot analysis?
All SnapShot analyses are performed by CIOview's business analysts. CIOview's business hours are 9:00AM to 5:30PM M-F, EST. Your analysis will be completed within two hours of receiving your completed questionnaire and approved credit card payment (if you go through the CIOview Store). SnapShot orders received on Saturday, Sunday, or after business hours will be performed promptly the next business day. |

How do I purchase TCOnow! or ROInow! software from the CIOview store?
Most CIOview products are available to you right from our online store. To purchase, just select the desired product from our Online Store on the CIOview web site. When you have selected the product you would like to purchase, click "Buy Now." One the next page, choose the length of your license and click the "Add to Basket" button. Fill in the required order information, then click "Continue." Please double-check your email address, as this is the address that will be used to mail your receipt and your download link. Fill in your payment information, then click "Continue." This will complete your order. Is my data protected?
CIOview does not sell, barter, or otherwise share data that you provide to CIOview via the web, unless it is explicitly offered as an option for you to choose. For more information, please see CIOview's Privacy Policy.
How is my TCOnow! or ROInow! software delivered?
CIOview delivers its software via Internet download. After you have filled out the purchase details, your order goes into the validation queue. We do this to protect your credit card details. During business hours (M-F, 9AM to 5:30PM EST) validation occurs typically within one hour. After hours, validation will occur on the next business day. After your order is validated, you will receive an email with an exclusive link to your software download, as well as instructions. How does the download process work?

After hours, validation will occur on the next business day. After your order is validated, you will receive an email with an exclusive link to your download. That link is valid for 7 days. (We can reactivate your download if you miss the 7-day window.) Using a T1 connection, the download should take just a few minutes.

Is my credit card protected?
We protect your credit card purchase on multiple fronts. Our store site is located on a secure SSL (secure socket layer) server. The server supports 128-bit SSL cipher protection. The server is additionally protected by an enterprise-level firewall. Finally, Authorize.Net is used to encrypt, authenticate and protect your credit card number.
